Learning Assessment
When children are finding school difficult, this can impact overall motivation and well-being. Learning assessments discover children's strengths and weaknesses, as well as determining if a specific learning disorder, intellectual disability, or giftedness is present.

After assessment a written report will be provided and discussed with you, including teaching recommendations. This will support your child to reach their potential and achieve to the best of their ability. If required a special assessment conditions application will be completed for NCEA level students.
Behavioural Assessment
If your child is displaying behaviours that are concerning we can work with you to find out what is going on. This may include mood, attentional, or social concerns.
A collaborative problem solving approach will be used where information from parents, teachers, and the child, combined with observational data, will be used to inform assessment.
Formal assessments may be used if appropriate for example if ADHD is suspected. In this case a written report will be provided.
